Having completed an undergraduate degree in Law and undertaken various different work experience placements I felt that the legal profession was not somewhere where my chosen career path would lie. As an ENACTUS project leader during my undergraduate degree, I was engaged with enterprise, the management of people and the development of organisational efficiencies. Through my enjoyment of this, I felt that further study in this area would highlight whether it was something I could pursue professionally.

An MSc in Management at Lancaster felt like a natural choice for three reasons. Firstly, the course had a breadth to it unparalleled in those courses offered by other institutions. Secondly, the undisputed reputation of Lancaster University Management School ensured that the level of support, teaching and opportunity provided would ensure the best possible platform for learning. Thirdly, having completed my undergraduate degree at Lancaster I felt comfortable in coming back to where I had spent the last four years of my education.

At this stage now, seven weeks into the course, I would not look back – choosing Lancaster and the MSc in Management was one of the best decisions I ever made. I couldn't be enjoying it more!
