There are various opportunities for you to come and see us, both before and after you apply.


Undergraduate Online Chats

We are holding a number of online chat sessions for offer holders in April. These are a great opportunity to chat to our current students and staff and to ask any questions you might have!

Our next session will take place on Tuesday 25th April 2017 between 18:30-20:30. 

To take part simply click here and follow the instructions below. 

In order to take part, all you need is a computer or mobile phone connected to the internet, a suitable web browser and headphone or speakers in order to listen to the audio. If you are using a headset, please make sure that you connect it to your computer or mobile phone before you enter the ‘room’. Please also be aware that Adobe Connect requires Flash Player 10.3 or above – if you need to upgrade you will be prompted to this when you try to enter the ‘room’.

To access the session on a mobile phone, please ensure you have downloaded the Adobe Connect Mobile App. The App is free to download, and is available for Apple, Android and Blackberry devices. Once downloaded, please click on the link above and follow the instructions to open Adobe Connect Mobile.

Applicant Visit Days

All applicants who hold an offer of a place to study will be sent invitations to attend our Applicant Visit Days in early 2017.

Our Applicant Visit Days are an opportunity to find out more about studying in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University. The programme for the day a presentation outlining our courses and the Department, "mini lectures" and chance to find out more about student life with an interactive session with our current students.

Open Days

Lancaster University holds campus-wide Open Days annually in June, July and September, when you can meet staff and listen to talks about the degrees that we offer. You can attend these before or after you have applied.

Campus Tours

The University also runs regular Campus Tours some of which include an opportunity to visit the department and meet a member of admissions staff to discuss Mathematics & Statistics at Lancaster.
