The 50th Anniversary Lectureship scheme supports Lancaster’s 2020 Strategy by recruiting and developing the highest calibre of researchers who have the potential to become the next generation of academic leaders. The scheme operates over a five year period and is supported by a bespoke Performance Development and Review (PDR) process and a comprehensive, tailored development programme
"I wanted to thank you and your team very much for a great first year on the 50th Anniversary Lectureship scheme. You oversaw a diverse group of lecturers with many different needs and managed to more-than-satisfy us with interesting courses, workshops and speakers (I especially enjoyed the coaching sessions with Will Medd!). These events gave us a lot of food for thought and provoked us to think more holistically about our roles as Lecturers generally and within the University. I look forward to the second year and all that it brings."
The documentation below provide guidance on the overall performance framework for 50th Anniversary Lectureship Role Holders and includes the bespoke PDR documentation and guidance.
