Interdisciplinary statistical modelling and control of uncertain systems in the natural sciences and engineering, with applied research spanning robotics, transport, energy, health and the environment. Developer of the Matlab CAPTAIN toolbox for system identification, time series analysis, forecasting and state-space control. Presently Deputy Head of the Engineering Department and Chair of the IET Control and Automation Network. My personal web page has more information about current and past projects.
