Research Overview

I am a cultural and health geographer working with, and through, the therapeutic landscapes concept.

My research seeks to provide insight into the nature and composition of therapeutic experience through the adoption of an heuristic and post-phenomenological approach; drawing on the work of scholars including: Moustakas, Merleau-Ponty and Deleuze.

I am particularly interested in the emergence of therapeutic experience in the context of meditation retreats and green space encounters (walking and outdoor volunteering).
