Mike originally joined the University as DESIRE Programme Manager in July 2003. DESIRE (Delivering Environmental Solutions Into Regional Enterprise) is an ERDF funded project that aims to help North West based Small and Medium Sized companies to improve their environmental performance by providing advice and assistance on environmental legislation and management, and encouraging echnology transfer from within the University and LEC. Mike also takes a lead role in co-ordinating our graduate consultancy programmes. Mike has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from DeMontfort University, Leicester and a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management and Protection. He has also qualified as an Associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
