Entry Requirements

We have a range of entry requirements for admission onto our undergraduate programmes suitable for whether you are studying A-levels, IB, are an international student, or have non-traditional qualifications and experience.

Our typical entry requirements for our BSc programmes are AAA (including Physics and Mathematics) for A-level students or for students studying towards an International Baccalaureate we require 36 points, with 16 points from the best three Higher level subjects, including Physics and Mathematics. For MPhys programmes we require A*AA (including Physics and Mathematics) for A-level students, or for International Baccalaureate we require 38 points including 17 points from the best three Higher level subjects, including Physics and Mathematics. In each case we recommend you consult a copy of the Physics Prospectus before completing your application.
