Visit Us Information for Undergraduates
Interviews and Applicant Visit Days
We do not normally interview applicants, but we want UCAS applicants to have every opportunity to see the Department and the University for themselves. We therefore arrange a number of UCAS Applicant Visit Days, normally on selected Wednesday and Saturday afternoons in Lent (Spring) term. These are intended for applicants to undergraduate degree schemes who have received a UCAS offer.
We strongly recommend that applicants attend one of these visit days: they give an opportunity to meet students and members of staff in a friendly and informal setting, view the campus and accommodation, and learn more about the courses on offer. They also provide an opportunity to discuss specific queries you may have about studying at Lancaster.
The 2017 Applicant Visit Days have now passed, you can book on a Campus Tour Extra which includes a visit to the department on the following dates:
All applicants to whom we make offers are automatically invited, but those who are interested in studying in PPR but who have not firmly decided to apply are also very welcome to attend. They should contact one of the admissions tutors below:
- Politics and International Relations Dr Mark Garnett
- Philosophy Dr Neil Manson
- Religious Studies: Professor Christopher Partridge
