Emergency Management at Lancaster University
Lancaster University recognises the requirement to have incident plans and procedures in place in the event of an emergency.
These plans and procedures will ensure that the University is able to continue to deliver teaching programmes, research activity and additional services that the University is committed to provide, during an emergency.
What is an Emergency?
An emergency for the University is when an incident or event occurs which leads to the disruption of normal service provision within but not limited to teaching and research practices. During one of these occurrences the pre-arranged plans would be implemented to minimise disruption to the University.
