Greenodd Sands from above Bridge End, Penny Bridge (pan to the right)

The modern bridge carries the A590 across the mouth of the River Crake. The smaller bridge in front of it carries the minor road into Greenodd. The old bridge at Penny Bridge is off the picture to the right. The fortress on the horizon is Heysham Nuclear Power Station. To the right, Greenodd. The coast road to Ulverston runs round the water's edge to the right.
