Africa/UK Forum: The Human and Social Dimensions of Innovation and Development
In July 2017 Lancaster University will hold a strategic, three-day collaborative discussion and networking event.
The Forum will bring together Lancaster academics and high profile African organisations including universities, businesses and government and civil society sectors.
This is the latest in a series of international events organised by the University in order to stimulate discussion and common interest areas on some of the world’s greatest global challenges.
Sessions open to Lancaster University Staff:
There are three sessions that Lancaster University staff can participate in. Attendance is free but registration is required please. Colleagues are welcome to attend any/all of these sessions.
Tuesday 11th July: 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Collaboration Lab – a fast paced intensive knowledge exchange session with our African delegates and Lancaster colleagues.
Tuesday 11th July: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Informal Drinks reception.
Thursday 13th July: 10:00am – 11:00am
Forum Update Session - Colleagues are invited to hear what conclusions and common themes have been drawn over the three day event and offer thoughts in response.
