Lancaster University has developed an approval scheme for rented accommodation in the private sector, to make the process of renting good quality property more transparent for our students.
A full refurbishment of Bowland College's Ash House will take place from November 2014, reopening in September 2015 and offering Superior Standard accommodation. For more information see our Ash House refurbishment page.

Lancaster University Accommodation has been recognised in the Best Student Housing category by professional association CUBO (College & University Business Officers), in recognition of our continued success in student surveys, customer service developments and continued improvement of our estate. The winner will be announced in July. More information on the awards can be found on the CUBO website .
Major refurbishment work to reconfigure the iconic Bowland Tower and its surrounding wings, was completed in December, with students moving in to their new rooms this month.
