Postgraduates may apply to stay in Graduate College for the summer. Graduate College Residence Office will contact all students on 40 week contracts after Easter with more information.
Lancaster has been ranked 15th in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey. The results of the survey rank universities according to 21 separate measures based on answers from almost 14,700 undergraduate students across the UK. In three of the measures we are in the top five - 'good accommodation', 'good security', and personal requirements catered for.
Lancaster University has been nominated for a Whatuni Student Choice Award, in the category of 'Best Accommodation'. These nominations are made based on over 20,000 student reviews over the last 12 months, and as ever we are grateful to our residents for their positive endorsement! The winner will be announced on 23 April.
If you have accepted a place on a postgraduate course starting in September you will be contacted by Graduate College and invited to apply for accommodation by email. For new undergraduates the process will begin at the start of June.

Most undergraduate colleges have now signed up the maximum number of returning students for accommodation next year, though there are some with vacancies remaining. Speak to your College Residence Officer to discuss your options. You can find their contact details here.

Lancaster University has developed an approval scheme for rented accommodation in the private sector, to make the process of renting good quality property more transparent for our students.
