Advancing the state of the art of MIMO (ATOM)

Coordinator: Lancaster University, UK

(Prof.Zhiguo Ding, School of Computing and Communications)

Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE)
Call: H2020-MSCA-RISE-2015
Beginning in February 2016

Project Overview

The ATOM project aspires to be a cooperative research and training programme for building a novel foundational framework for future MIMO heterogeneous networks. This requires collaboration between researchers from diverse communities working on communication theory, networks, computer security, optimization, electromagnetic theory, and hardware. The RISE framework provides an ideal venue to bring together experienced and young researchers from different communities in order to share as well as enhance their expertise through collaboration. The consortium involves researchers working in 7 well-established academic and research institutes in the world. All partners are well-known experts in the domain of MIMO communications and will contribute towards a rigorous and complete research and training programme.
