Go 4 Uni Summer School

Our Go 4 Uni Summer School is for students in year 11 (during the academic year 2014-15).

The Summer School aims to provide you with a full insight into life at university, balancing skills development and experience of the types of courses you can study at university. You will also gain an insight into the different social and leisure activities available at university in our action packed evening timetable. The Summer School is also an ideal way to find out more about university and help you decide if this is the right path for you in the future. We ensure that groups are kept small and that we bring together like-minded students with Lancaster staff and current students. Summer Schools are an ideal way to step into learning beyond school.

During the Summer School you will take part in academic seminars, theatre workshops and a variety of social and lesiure activites designed to give you a taste of university life. Working in small groups with our team of student ambassadors you will also take part in a challenge activity bringing together everything you have learn't duirng your time with us.

Your challenge (if you choose to accept it) will be to design a campaign to help your peers deicde if univeristy is the right choice for them.
