Dr Steven Houben

Lecturer in Interactive Systems

Research Interests

My research and teaching are directed at human-computer interaction, user experience, ubiquitous multi-device systems, physical and tangible computing, and sensor-based systems. My research goals are to research, design, build and evaluate Interactive Systems and Physical Computing devices for human-data interaction and information handling. I am also one of the main organizers of the Cross-Surface workshop series collocated with ITS and CHI aimed at establishing a new research agenda for opportunities and challenges in cross-device interactions.
