One of Enterprise Generator's clients wishes to further develop its existing online application (called 'chemtrac') which was initially developed by Enterprise Generator.
Chemtrac provides users with the ability to access and store information regarding over 150,000 chemicals and associated regulations. Prestigious users of the existing system include such companies as Rolls Royce, Tesco and Toyota.
Chemtrac has ambitious plans for the future. New applications and bolt-ons to the existing software have been conceptually developed and now need to be incorporated into chemtrac.
The project involves supporting Enterprise Generator staff in developing a bolt-on to the existing substance database that will allow clients to upload their products and specify their chemical composition. The successful candidate will liaise with company staff and its clients to develop these new applications and to suggest product enhancements to ensure effective ergonomics and ease of use.
This is a three-month internship which is part-funded by banking group Santander.
