InfoLab21 Featured In Celebration of North West Excellence
InfoLab21 was featured at 'The European Approach - Celebrating North West Excellence' event at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. The aim of the event was to showcase examples of projects that have been exceptional at incorporating the cross cutting themes of 'Equal Opportunities' and 'Information Communication Technology and Sustainable Development'.
The Key Note speech was delivered by North West MEP Arlene McCarthy Chair of the International Market and Consumer Protection Committee who highlighted the significant and positive impact European Funding has had on the North West region.

Professor Roger Jones has replaced Professor Peter Ratoff as Head of the Physics Department. Roger gained a PhD studying neutrino interactions at CERN and Fermilab before starting his career at CERN working at the Large Electron-Positron (LEP) Collider.
