Grant success for Dr Michelle To and Dr Kathleen McCulloch
Dr To and Dr McCulloch have each been awarded an ESRC Transformative Grant, running for one year and worth approximately £10,000 each.
Dr To's grant will investigate the effects of ageing on the ability to detect visual differences in complex natural scenes, such as photographs. This work can lead to improvements in the safety and quality of life of older adults by enhancing the efficiency of displays and the design of everyday products.
Dr McCulloch's project is entitled 'Motivational Configuration of Social Performance Environments'.
