Communication Systems Department Join NEWCOM++
The Communication Systems Department at InfoLab21 has been elected to join the European Network of Excellence in Communications (NEWCOM++) as an Associate Member.
Lancaster is the only UK Institution in this network - a recognition of the department's research strength in this area.
NEWCOM++ focuses on "ubiquitous network infrastructure and architectures", aiming at creating a trans-European virtual centre leading European research groups in a highly integrated, carefully harmonized, cooperative fashion.
