Building a Cycling Culture
Dave Horton of Lancaster Environment Centre's Understanding Walking and Cycling project delivered Ireland's Annual Cycling Research Lecture at Trinity College Dublin recently.
Dave delivered his talk, 'Building a Cycling Culture', to around 250 people, many of whom had travelled to the event from across Ireland. He reported the EPSRC-funded project's preliminary findings about the reasons people do and don't cycle. Before the lecture Dave was interviewed at length about the project on prime-time Irish national radio, by George Hook of Newstalk.
