Events for Schools in 2011
There are some great opportunities for schools to get involved in Science and Technology at Lancaster in 2011.
In February we will be holding a Rocket Challenge Day as part of an ongoing project to support the teaching of triple science within local schools.
In March staff and students from Science and Technology departments will be in London for the Big Bang Science Fair.
As part of National Science and Engineering Week we will be holding a series of activities, also in March, to promote Science and Technology to local school students.
For year 12 students thinking of coming to university, our summer Taster Day in July is an opportunity to get an insight into studying Science and Technology subjects at Lancaster.
