UCD Engineering Students Available To Support LEC Partner Companies
Through LEC's KARIM (Knowledge Acceleration and Responsible Innovation Meta-network) project an opportunity has arisen for a number of high calibre postgraduate Engineering students from University College Dublin to undertake work placements with SMEs in the UK.
Placements will run from January to August 2013, with students from a broad range of Engineering disciplines available (including ME Biomedical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Electronic & Computing Engineering, Electrical Energy Engineering, Material Science Engineering and Mechanical Engineering).
Companies interested in hosting a capable student with a solid engineering grounding from the New Year should in the first instance contact Mike Entwistle via firstname.lastname@example.org. Under the scheme companies typically pay students at a rate of £350-400 per week to fund living expenses.
