ICT Focus are an authorised Pearson Vue Test Centre. The free resit offer on Microsoft Professional Exams taken at Pearson Vue test centres is due to end soon. Microsoft's Second Shot offer will end 30 June 2006. Candidates have got until this date to take their first exam. Resits must be taken by 31 July. Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark E Smith, recently visited CERN, to see the important research being conducted by Lancaster staff. Joined by Professor Peter Ratoff, Professor Roger Jones and Dr Graeme Burt who are leading CERN based projects, Professor Smith was given a VIP tour of CERN including the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) and the ATLAS Collaboration visitor centre.
