Dr Lucy Thorne
Lucy Thorne is the Senior Faculty Administrator in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Prior to joining Lancaster University, Lucy was a post-doctoral researcher at a range of institutions before taking research and resource management roles at the Learning and Skills Development Agency.
Her research has focused on professional and work based learning and new forms of doctorates. She has experience of postgraduate teaching and of doctoral supervision.
Lucy has authored or co-authored books, chapters, papers and conference proceedings on varying aspects of pedagogy, educational research and learning through work.
