CETAD to deliver national Leadership qualification

Story Published: April 2013

CETAD has been awarded an extended contract to deliver the National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL) on behalf of the National College for Teaching and Leadership (Dept for Education). This prestigious national programme is for leaders of children's centres delivering integrated services. It is a multi-agency, inter-professional postgraduate leadership programme with both an academic and a professional qualification. Participants who have undertaken the programme may subsequently progress to achieve a Masters Degree. Participants are from a variety of backgrounds in health, social work, social care and the children's workforce. The programme focuses on community engagement to support children and families.

CETAD is one of only six national providers of this contract who work regionally across England. CETAD has been contracted to deliver across the North West region potentially expanding into West and South Yorkshire to a contract value of £495,000 in 13/14. In the general context of reduced public sector contracts and increased competition, this is an outstanding result which recognises CETAD's excellent performance in contract delivery over the past few years.
