Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust required a development programme to empower their Ward Managers in the changing NHS landscape. The Trust worked in partnership with CETAD to map out a development programme and the outcome was the design and delivery of a contextualised Postgraduate Certificate in Organisational Change (Health Care).
Forty Ward Managers, two groups of twenty, enrolled on the programme which was delivered off site via interactive workshops facilitated by university tutors with specialist sessions delivered by the NHS Trust staff. The organisational impact of the programme has been immense and this short video clip evidences the successful and on-going partnership.
