Research Background

Claire has recently graduated from Lancaster University with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology. Claire has worked at the Spectrum Centre as a research assistant on the PARADES and REACT projects alongside her degree. Since graduating in July, Claire has been working full time on the PARADES project carrying out qualitative interviews with participants.

Research Interests

Claire's research interests centre around mental illness, in particular psychosis and the effects that psychosis has on relatives and carers from her work on the REACT (Relatives Education and Coping Toolkit) project.

Current Projects

Claire is currently writing a paper that looks at the psychological constructs used by health professionals use when supporting the relatives of those with psychosis. Claire hopes to secure PhD funding to further research relatives experience of psychosis.
