Short courses focus on specific skills, knowledge or areas of practice. They involve assessment which enables participants to gain academic credits. Each course can be taken on its own, while social work practitioners can combine a number of modules to build credits for one of the academic qualifications
There are currently no short courses scheudled for this academic year.
We provide workshops on key issues in contemporary practice in social work and social welfare. If you attend one or more workshops, you can gain credits by studying one of the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) modules. We support you to evidence application of learning from the workshop to your own practice, through a written assignment. The APL modules carry credits which can be used towards a qualification.
