Case Awards

The North West Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership NWSSDTP runs an annual collaborative studentship competition (CASE) where academics from the four NWSSDTP institutions can apply for funding towards postgraduate projects that will be co-supervised with a representative from a non-HEI partner organisations. Successful applicants will then be invited to recruit a postgraduate candidate to undertake the project. Please find details of current CASE awards that are recruiting now.

ESRC 1+3 CASE studentship: Indicators of escalation in domestic violent crime using police data on perpetrators and victims

To apply, submit an application for a Sociology PhD by 3 April 2017: http://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/how-to-apply-for-postgraduate-study/ In the ‘research proposal’ part of the application form please write one page on your suitability for this research project, headed ‘Indicators of escalation in domestic violent crime using police data on perpetrators and victims’.
