CEMORE Pump Priming funding - for Lancaster based researchers

Date: 10 July 2014

Applications are invited from Lancaster-based members of CeMoRe (or Lancaster-based individuals who believe their research connects to the agenda of CEMORE) for pump priming funding up to the value of £500. Applications for smaller sums are particularly encouraged.

Funding could be used in any way deemed beneficial to CeMoRe's agenda - examples would include workshops, art exhibitions, pilot research, communication/impact activities etc. But please note this is NOT a conference travel fund. All funding must be spent before 1st July 2015.

Applications should take the form of a 1 page document that outlines (1) the academic rationale of the research, (2) the activities that will be funded, (3) budget and timescales. Assessment based on the three criteria (in terms of budget we will consider value for money) and will be made by the Directorate of CeMoRe.

Deadline for applications is 12th September 2014; we hope to make decisions by the end of September 2014.

All applications should be submitted to Pennie Drinkall -

Queries may be directed to Prof. James Faulconbridge (CeMoRe Director of Research) - email
