Management in Action - March 2014

  • The Work Foundation, 21 Palmer Street, London SW1H 0AD
  • Thursday 27th March 2014, 6.30pm-9pm

'The Challenges of Delivering a Consistent Service with 1500 Outlets'

Speaker: Charles Byrne

Charles Byrne is the CEO of Alliance Surgical PLC, which was two years running in Virgin Times Top 100 Fastest Growing UK Companies.

He is a Lancaster MBA graduate and was the former Commercial MD of Ingersoll Rand Ltd UK.

The Management in Action events series is designed to allow participants to reflect on their management practice by seeing how other senior managers have responded to business challenges. Speakers are drawn from a range of for profit and not-for-profit organisations and topics selected that offer the greatest learning opportunity.

The series is a Management Development Division initiative at the Lancaster University Management School but all Lancaster University alumni are very welcome to attend these events. We envisage the events being of most value to practising managers, especially managers who have limited exposure to developments in other industries.  Find out more about Executive Education at Lancaster University.

Format – Guest speaker presentation followed by networking. Refreshments will be provided.
