The Lancaster Enabling and Access Fund is offered to students who have incurred costs as a result of a disability or medical condition. The costs must be related to your studies and the fund cannot be used towards general living costs or personal care.
The fund is designed to assist students who are unable to meet incurred costs. UK undergraduate students must be in receipt of the Lancaster Bursary with an assessed household income below £42,620.
UK/ EU and International postgraduate students must be able to provide evidence of income and bank statements in order for us to carry out a financial assessment.
EU and International students will be required to supply evidence of household (parental income).
Students must supply evidence of the disability prior to applying.
If you have not previously disclosed your condition or provided medical evidence, please email The Disability Service at email@example.com to book an appointment or make an appointment via The Base before making an application to the fund.
Please complete a Lancaster Enabling and Access Fund application form and submit this together with the supporting evidence requested on the form to The Student Funding Service, Lancaster University, University House, Bailrigg, Lancaster, LA1 4YW.

There is no deadline application date for continuing students however a deadline date is applicable for final year students as below.
