Foundation Programme at Olashore International School, Nigeria
Olashore International School, Osun State, Nigeria is a private, co-educational boarding school of 600 students. It offers good quality education in a wide range of subjects at junior, secondary and advanced levels of education.

The one-year Foundation Programme has been specifically designed to prepare students for undergraduate study at Lancaster University. The course provides training in the English language, study skills, computer skills and offers an introduction to contemporary British culture. Students will also maintain and enhance their subject content knowledge by following one of three subject pathways: Business & Management; Life Sciences, Engineering & Computing Studies and Literacy & Social Studies. The programme also includes a two-week Study Skills Course at Lancaster in September before the academic term begins.
Admission to Lancaster University
Applications are made through UCAS for any subject area at Lancaster. At the end of the course of study at Olashore International School, students who meet the following conditions will then be admitted to Lancaster University’s Study Skills course and then in to the department of their chosen degree scheme:
- Complete all the components of the Foundation Programme with an overall level of Merit. An overall Distinction level is required for some departments including the Management School
- Pass an admissions interview conducted by a member of staff from Lancaster University
- Students whose dominant language is not English will be required to take the IELTS test and to achieve a level of 6.5.
