Our Campus Tour Extra is designed for students in Year 12 who are starting to think about their future University options, however students of any age can book a place. During your visit you will be introduced to the Lancaster University Campus and be given the opportunity to speak to both students and staff from your department of choice. The programme will begin with a warm welcome to Lancaster in the form of a talk which will begin at 1:30. You will then be taken on a guided tour of our beautiful campus and facilities by one of our current students, during which you will have the opportunity to see our award-winning student accommodation. After the tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet academic staff from the subject you’re interested in and ask any questions you may have about the courses we offer. The day will finish at approximately 4pm however, please note that we are an open campus, meaning that you can stay after the day has finished and look around the campus at your own leisure.
Self-Guided Tours offer you the opportunity to visit our beautiful campus at your leisure for those who are unable to attend one of our scheduled campus tours. By registering, you will be posted a Self-Guided Tour brochure which will help you navigate through our lovely campus.
Within the brochure you will find a suggested route including key points to visit and a map of the campus. As you can appreciate, with the self-guided tour option, we cannot offer accommodation to view but you can find information including photos and prices in the accommodation section of our website.
