We have information points open all day at the following locations:

These can provide you with information about the day, opportunity to grab a programme or a bottle of water and chat to a student ambassador.
Visit the Open Day Exhibition
You will be able to visit our Open Day Exhibition in the Library (Map Ref: LIB) throughout the day where you can find out about all aspects of the Lancaster Experience:

Learn about our colleges
Lancaster is proud to be one of only a handful of UK universities to have a collegiate system. We have nine colleges in total, eight for undergraduate students and one for postgraduates.
County College, Fylde College, Pendle College, Lonsdale College and will be open during the day where you can enjoy some refreshments whilst having a chat with college staff who will tell you more about our unique collegiate system.
Find your faculty
During the Open Day, you will have the chance to visit stalls for each subject area and chat to members of your faculty and department based in the following locations:
- The Faculty of Health and Medicine is in the Science and Technology Building (Map Ref: SAT)
- The Faculty of Science and Technology in the Learning Zone (Map Ref: BLM)
- The Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences in the LICA Building (Map Ref: LIC)
- Management & Business is based in Charles Carter (Map Ref: CHC)
- Environment & Life Sciences will be based in the Lancaster Environment Centre (Map Ref: LEC)
Take a break
Our campus offers a range of food outlets, many of which will be open during the Open Day for you to grab refreshments, lunch or just take a break.
From 8.00, Costa (in Alexandra Square) will be open serving its famous coffee.
From 8.30, the Hub Café (Map Ref: MAN), The Deli (off Alexandra Square), Marketplace (Map Ref: COS) will be open.
From 10.00 we will have free tea, coffee and juices available from County College, Fylde College, Pendle College and Lonsdale College as well as in the LICA building (Map Ref: LIC), the Learning Zone (Map Ref: BLM), Lancaster Environment Centre (Map Ref: LEC) and Charles Carter (Map Ref: CHC).
From 11.30, The Trough of Bowland (Map Ref: BLM) will be serving homemade pies if you want to get a taste of the North.
Explore our Library
Our newly refurbished Library offers a calm and inspiring environment with a range of individual and group work spaces to support different learning styles. One of the standout features is the tree in the main study area which helps to create a tranquil space for students and represents the green credentials of the University.
Tours of the Library will take place throughout the day, departing from the foyer.
Tour the Sports Centre
Our state of the art, £20m Sports Centre features a range of sporting facilities. In addition to our 100 station gym, visitors to the centre can enjoy a 25m floating-floor swimming pool, an 8m climbing wall and bouldering cave, sauna and steam rooms, a sports hall, squash courts and outdoor facilities for field games.
Although the Sports Centre (Map Ref: SPC) isn't included on the guided campus tour, it will be open throughout the day and staff will be conducting tours. If you are hoping to get more information about Lancaster's sporting culture, there will be a Sports and Wellbeing at Lancaster Talk talking place in the Sports Centre Studio at 10:45, 12:15 and 1:45.
Finding your way around
Our campus map is designed to help you easily find your way around. A map will be available in the Open Day programme which will be available for download before your arrival on campus. These will also be posted to anyone registered to attend.
