Plan your day
Whatever your plans are for the future, making the right choice for your studies is essential. To make sure you get the most out of your visit to Lancaster, plan ahead to ensure you fit in everything that you want to see and do during the day.
Booking your place
Bookings for our Open Days are now live, so feel free to click on your preferred date which will link you through to our Eventbrite pages. You can find these links at the side of each page or on our Further Information page. Once you have registered you will be emailed your ticket, which we will scan when you arrive on campus so please bring it with you. If you do not wish to use Eventbrite you can book a place using an alternative booking form which can be requested by emailing us.
Checking in on the day
When you arrive on campus, please make your way to our check in point in County South Lecture Theatre (Map Ref: COS). We will scan you in using your Eventbrite tickets, either from your hard copy or smartphone. After that, you can collect your Lancaster University bag to help you gather further information from around campus.

You can find a list of our subject talks in your Open Day programme, which you should receive before your arrival on campus to help you plan your day. Academic talks will provide you with key information about what studying at Lancaster will be like and an insight into your course. Other talks cover topics like Student Finance, Sports at Lancaster, our Students' Union and Accommodation (among others) to provide you with more information about life at Lancaster.
If you would like to speak to members of staff within a specific department, they will be on campus all day to answer your questions at our subject stands. A list of subject stand locations can be found in your programme.
