Getting Here

Lancaster University is approximately three miles south of the City of Lancaster. We are very well connected to the UK's major cities and airports and are within easy travelling distance of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds (1.5 hours). 

By Car

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster. For the University campus, turn right at the third set of traffic lights signposted Alexandra Park. 

Car parking permits will be sent to all delegates in advance of the conference meaning there will be no cost to park on the day. Wheelchair accessible spaces are clearly marked across all car parking areas around campus. 

The Teachers and Advisors Conference will take place in our Welcome Centre which is reference 'WEL' on our Campus MapCampus Map‌. Please make your way to the Welcome Centre once you have parked and Student Ambassadors will direct you to registration.

By Rail

Lancaster sits on the West Coast Mainline, allowing for easy travel to London or Glasgow (2.5 hours) and even has direct trains from Manchester Airport (1.5 hours). Regular buses are available between Lancaster City Centre and the Lancaster University campus. Please allow 40 minutes for this journey to allow for local traffic conditions.
