Visiting Lancaster

Visiting our campus gives students the opportunity to meet current Lancaster students, discover what it is like to study and live at University and participate in a programme of activities tailored to your requirements.

Why visit?

Through visiting Lancaster, students will be able to experience what it is like to live and learn at a campus-based University. A tour of our 360 acre campus will familiarise students with both our award-winning accommodation and facilities including the Leaning Zone, Library and also College social spaces. In addition, students will also have the opportunity to interact with current Lancaster University students who can provide a great insight about what it is like to study at Lancaster.

During the day

We will work with you to create an itinerary to match your requirements. However, the vast majority of visiting school and college groups enjoy a tour of our campus led by one of our friendly Student Ambassadors, usually one or two talks or interactive workshops and some free time to explore the campus a bit more and eat lunch. An example itinerary might include:
