Virtually all our undergraduate students have the opportunity of studying abroad as part of their degree programme. Spending a year abroad does not mean that you add an extra year to your degree programme - a year abroad at one of our partner institutions is considered equivalent to a year at Lancaster. The exception to this is if you are reading for either a single or combined major degree in one or more Modern Languages or European Studies, when the year abroad comprises an extra year of study.
