determinism were true there wouldn't be such a thing as an argument - just sales
techniques. So this question itself would be meaningless.

Everybody
says they have freewill.
Which do you think is the best argument for the existence
of freewill in human beings?
(1) doesn't seem valid - it's quite possible for everyone
to be wrong (and some people actually don't say they have freewill.)
If (2) could be substantiated I suppose that would indeed settle the matter,
but substantiating it is the difficult bit. I don't see that (3) is true -
we could surely be programmed to get up - ?
(4) seems to me to be the thing to worry about (if you are
a determinist).
