Cicero's Villa

Turner 's Cicero at his villa, oil on canvas, exhibited Royal Academy 1839, Private Collection ( Wilton P381).

Ruskin would have seen this in Turner's gallery, before it had been acquired by the Birmingham collector Joseph Gillott, by March 1845.
