The Planning and Analytics unit is divided into three main areas, Student Statutory Returns, Reporting and Analytics (including Business Intelligence), and Planning.

Statutory Returns
The Statutory Returns team work on preparing and collating student data to return to governing bodies such as HESA and OfS.

Reporting and Analytics
The Reporting and Analytics team are responsible for implementing the Business Intelligence programme, creating interactive visualisations and dashboards, as well as preparing other strategic management information in order to aid decision making across the institution.

Planning
The Planning team is responsible for supporting senior colleagues and faculties in the ongoing delivery of the University's strategic goals, in particular through the annual planning and budgeting round and other strategic review processes.
The team operates through the new planning partner model supporting the four faculties.
