Event Details

Online masterclass open to Lancaster MBA offer holders and alumni of the Lancaster MBA programmes.

Lancaster MBA offer holders and alumni are invited to join an online masterclass with James Whittaker, a distinguished engineer and thought leader who has a wealth of experience including from senior positions held with Microsoft and Google.

In this engaging and often funny presentation, James will talk about artificial intelligence (AI), its promise, and its perils. He will begin by defining what AI actually is and how it emulates human reasoning, before going into a discussion about the types of problems it can solve that make it far more powerful than traditional software. You'll leave this masterclass understanding AI and, likely, both excited and a bit nervous about the future.
