College 1000 - End of campaign review

Lancaster University Student Call Team

Our student call team have just put the phone down on the 19/20 call campaign. The campaign proved to be a resounding success with over 200 alumni making donations to a number of great causes across the Lancaster University community.

Many of these donations were given to the College 1000 campaign, which was set up in 2017 to provide vital support to students in each of our nine colleges. The overall aim of the campaign is to get 1000 regular donors to support vital initiatives within their college.

Each college has its own bespoke ways of using the funds generously donated to them through the campaign. This helps to ensure that the funds are able to support those in the college who need it most, meaning all gifts are able to have the largest possible impact upon both current and future generations in each college.

Since 2017, over 450 spaces have been filled on the College 1000, these spaces have been filled by over 300 individuals, of which over 200 are brand new supporters of Lancaster University. Currently Grizedale College have managed to gain the most support with 69 donors, but Bowland and County College remain in close pursuit
