Dr Karenza Moore (Sociology) has co-authored a report for the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) that examines how drug-use data is collected in recreational settings, and identifies the benefits and challenges of monitoring in these environments.

A report based on research led by Professor Karen Broadhurst (Sociology) for the Nuffield Family Justice Observatory shows the number of newborn babies being taken into care at birth in England has doubled. The report was featured widely on the BBC including an interview on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme and the BBC News website.
