The six week residential Ghana Global Health Programme, based at our Ghana campus, focuses on health and infectious diseases and brings together students from Lancaster and Boston University. Jointly developed and taught by lecturers at Lancaster and Boston Universities, you will explore the relationship between infectious diseases and the social determinants of health. Work experience with a non-governmental organisation allows you to see first-hand how public health strategies are implemented on the ground. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your learning through trips and interactions with local hospitals, research institutions, and NGOs.
This course is limited to 8 places per year.
