Two further <a href=\"https:\/\/decarbon8.org.uk\/funding\/\">funding calls<\/a> will be run in 2020 and 2021, where a further \u00a3300,000 (\u00a3240,000 at 80% fEC) will be available. Proposals are invited for projects of\u00a0<strong>up to 6 months<\/strong>\u00a0duration.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are encouraged for activities such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exploratory research studies<\/li>\n<li>Secondary data analysis<\/li>\n<li>Comparative case study research<\/li>\n<li>Interdisciplinary activities such as workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As this is seedcorn <a href=\"https:\/\/decarbon8.org.uk\/funding\/\">funding<\/a>, we would not anticipate funding a small number of very high value bids. Whilst we are not setting a maximum value, applicants should be aware that\u00a0<strong>we expect to share the \u00a3100,000 between a number of smaller projects<\/strong>. Our aim is to support research that demonstrates a credible path to larger funding applications to the Research Councils, InnovateUK, or other sources.
