On 29th<\/sup>\u00a0<\/span>October, Lancaster Sociology Department, CeMoRe and the Institute for Social Futures held the third Annual John Urry Lecture, albeit in a slightly different format than previous years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n An online event discussed\u00a0<\/span>Covid-19, Mobilities and Futures<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>with\u00a0<\/span>short talks and a panel discussion from speakers:<\/p>\n Professor Tim Cresswell<\/p>\n Professor Mimi Sheller<\/p>\n Professor Noel Salazar<\/p>\n With the global pandemic thrusting im\/mobilities into the epicentre of contemporary politics and society, the conversations surrounding the future of mobilities research is now more important than ever.
