Our research focuses on&nbsp;<strong>responsible socio-technical innovation in transport, healthcare, public safety and disaster response (PPDR)<\/strong>. More than 15 years of practitioner research in nationally and EU funded projects has produced a wealth of knowledge and expertise.<\/p>\n<p>We have developed a range of&nbsp;<strong>research-based services&nbsp;<\/strong>to support collaborative socio-technical innovation and independent, impartial formative and summative evaluation with practitioners. We are part of standardisation efforts, for example for semiotic interoperability through&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cen.eu\/news\/workshops\/Pages\/WS-2017-002.aspx\">Terminologies for Crisis and Disaster Management<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>(CEN\/WS TER-CDM -2017) and guidance for a digital ethics in collaborative information management through leading the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isitethical.eu\/\"><strong>isITethical? Exchange<\/strong><\/a>. We have developed&nbsp;<strong>creative ethical and privacy impact assessment&nbsp;<\/strong>methodologies.<\/p>\n<p>Our work integrates&nbsp;standardised methods, such as&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rri-tools.eu\/-\/the-satori-framework-outline-of-an-ethics-assessment-framework-main-results-of-the-satori-project#\">SATORI&nbsp;Ethical impact assessment framework<\/a>&nbsp;(CEN CWA 17145-2 2017),&nbsp;and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.driver-project.eu\/the-driver-trial-guidance-methodology-handbook\/\">DRIVER+ Trial Guidance Methodology<\/a>. We have expertise in citizen engagement.
