The Lancaster Conferences+ team are celebrating the success of the event, which provided a networking opportunity for local businesses to share best practice and news from across the county. With over 60 delegates from across Lancashire, the event saw the launch of Lancashire Business Views’s latest edition of their monthly magazine with the organisers describing Forrest Hills as the, “perfect set up for networking”.
Guests were first welcomed into the charming open foyer of our award-winning venue for refreshments and canapés. The log burner was blazing and provided a lovely backdrop compared to the cold weather outside. Delegates enjoyed a variety of savoury and sweet canapés, including mini Yorkshire puddings with pulled beef and tempting lemon meringue bites.
Once attendees had warmed up and had a bite to eat, everyone was invited in to the Reed Room – the ideal space for a theatre style presentation with a beautiful view across the lake. LBV magazine cover star, Paul Kendrick, owner and managing director of Studio Retail, shared his vision for his business and spoke of their on-going transformation.
It was fantastic to host a variety of delegates across a broad range of areas and a great opportunity to bring the university and Lancashire business community together. Guests were extremely impressed with the charming characteristics Forrest Hills had to offer, and particularly benefited from the great location and free parking.
Stephen Bolton, Commercial Director at Lancashire Business View, tweeted, “Fabulous venue and even better hospitality – thank you Lancaster Conferences”.
